📌The project aims to raise awareness among young participants about the social and environmental impacts of fast fashion and to promote ethical, sustainable alternatives. 👉Through a Youth Exchange, participants will explore responsible production and consumption, addressing issues such as unsafe working conditions, unfair wages, and environmental harm. 👉They will design creative initiatives like clothing swaps, upcycling, repair workshops, and awareness actions, to be implemented locally after the exchange for long-term impact.
❗Objectives👇
-To raise awareness among young participants about the environmental and social impacts of fast fashion and the importance of sustainable and ethical fashion practices.
-To increase participants’ knowledge of ethical production in the fashion industry, including fair working conditions, fair wages, and responsible use of resources.
-To develop practical skills in repairing, reusing, and repurposing clothes in order to reduce textile waste and
overconsumption.
-To promote sustainable habits such as mindful purchasing, clothing swaps, upcycling, and reuse as everyday alternatives to fast fashion.
-To strengthen participants’ leadership, initiative, and advocacy skills, enabling them to engage their local
communities in sustainable fashion actions.
