📌The project explores sustainability through a generational lens, looking at how habits have shifted from repairing and reusing to the rise of fast fashion and disposable culture.
❗Through hands-on workshops, discussions and practical tools, participants dive into themes such as environmental responsibility in youth work, slow fashion, upcycling, clothing swaps, and the influence of advertising and social media on our identity as consumers.
📌Objectives👇
-To equip young people and youth workers with the skills to question modern consumerism, make greener choices, and design youth projects that promote more mindful and sustainable lifestyles.
-This training focuses on sustainability and rethinking consumption habits, with a special look at how
practices have changed across generations:
- Environmental responsibility in youth work
- Understanding modern consumerism vs. past habits (e.g., repairing, reusing, buying less but better) - The impact of fast fashion and disposable culture
- Workshops on slow fashion, upcycling, and clothing swaps
- Tools to help young people reflect critically on advertising, social media, and identity through consumption
- Action planning for greener, more mindful youth projects
